I always find women who date younger man alluring. I could never have the nerve to embark on a serious relationship with a man ten years plus younger than me. To me it always seemed like an unsafe route. Like you should expect for your heart to be broken eventually by dealing with someone so much younger than you. I think how brave they must be because it seems too risky for a sista like myself. I think that eventually the age difference would catch up with the couple and cause tension

People change as they grow older and if you are dating a man younger than you then you already are taking the risk that he is not as mature mentally as you are, that he is not ready to settle down with one woman and still has some running around to do. In fact I cannot think of many relationships where the woman was significantly older than the man and it was successful. On the contrary there are relationships where an older man dates a younger woman but as I stated earlier

Then you think deeper. Does love know age, or race, religion etc? Some would say yes it does and others would say that you never know where you will find love and romance and by limiting yourself you are lessening the chances of finding true love. A person could come into your life and change it dynamically. Then there are the older women who could care less about what their younger companion does outside of the relationship as long as he comes home to her and loves her.

Personally, I would be weary of dating a man significantly younger than myself. I am not confident in the maturity level that would come along with his age. Think about it, sometimes men in the same age group as you are a few steps behind in the maturity factor so imagine someone ten years younger. Sorry fellas. A relationship needs more than attraction and cute conversation to survive the test of time. It has to have a level of stability that makes both people feel secure.
